Just seems odd to me. Let em get their score up. I feel like if you're serious about trophy hunting, the first thing you do is size someone up and review their profile if it looks too good.

It wouldn't fool anyone. It's like injecting yourself with synthesol and when you witness that person lifting weights, it's very unimpressive.

It doesn't hold up under scrutiny, do really, who cares?

It lessens the enjoyment and adds a hassle in the comparison. Even by your logic, you couldn't trust the player level anymore.

@ Darx platinum trophies are there for bragging rights and shouldn’t be degraded by easy runs for example I got the platinum for Starhawk a 0.5% worldwide completion and you going to compare that to a 15 minutes game that have a platinum like Hanna Montana with a 100% completion 🤦🏿

Exactly ever since there was an "outrage" about indie devs not getting representation on the platform there's been so much pure and utter garbage coming to the front of the store that it just kills the whole experience for me and makes it feel like a junk store

In all honesty I just look at the sales and deal pages since I rarely buy games on release anymore, so I don't see most of those games anyway.

I know Steam and the Eshop are both littered with shovel ware as well though.

I have the PS app and I just looked yesterday . I’ve never bought or even looked at any of these games so maybe they show up differently for
me . I’m not saying I couldn’t find them if I tried but they are never in the front of my lists . I opted into PS analytics so they know how manny games I have to get invites for preorders etc because I buy a ton of games so they know what I don’t want to see

I could see then why you might not have seen them, I usually check the new releases evry night I come home from work. Theres probably 20 or so of them under new releases as of now. My question is are they removing the ones that are already there cause I seen this article at work and when I checked last night they were still there.

Maybe that's the case then, if I see game I might like advertised/announced/released, I normally rush over to Steam to wishlist, I'll do the same on PS and Nintendo's store fronts as well if they're exclusive games. I don't look at the new releases/pre-orders very often unless I'm really bored, I know Steam will recommend me some bizarre games, which makes me question what I bought/looked at to get said recommendations.

People need to look at Save Room. That had me crying laughing with my buddy as it's just the inventory management mechanic from old Resident Evil games made into a puzzle game. It's also hilarious that the same company that made the "game" has 20-30 other games that all look terrible and have the exact same $4.99 price tag on the US PlayStation store.

I can't believe they let it go on so long. I used to always use the newly released page to look for hidden gems but there's frequent nonsense on there. There's 20+ different jumping (insert food item) and then a turbo version. All 5 minute platinums. Same goes for 'stroke the' cat, dog, fish, rabbit, parrot, snake, hedgehog, etc etc. Bump/dump/lump/qump/fump jump (pretty sure there's a different reskinned game for each letter on that one) and that's are all recently there's loads more. There can't be more than a couple of thousand people buying them surely it can't be worth cluttering the PS Store.

I was never too against the games - fair play to the devs who exploited it for so long. And no problem with people who played these for trophies.. ultimately, it makes no difference either way to anyone so if that makes them happy, then that's their choice.

BUT.. this will really help me personally when browsing the store! It was starting to get a bit ridiculous. I remember a few weeks ago a flappy bird clone which launched at the same time as it's sequel.. oh yeah and also 5 other sequels.. like literally on the same day. Eradicating this practise will certainly make the store cleaner!

I get games like my name is mayo being banned because they are ridiculous but I've bought a few fun games with very easy plats, such as castle of pixel skulls and Freddy spaghetti, usually for about 90p on sale and has my 90p worth of enjoyment bit the plat was very easy, hope thos games stay
