I like both but first person has better emersion and is more scary.

Army_of_Darkness908d ago

I agree, first person perspective is always more scary and intense even though I prefer 3rd person view.

It's a real shame it doesn't come with VR mode option like re7 did. That's the best immersion you can have.
Dam, it was the only time I've ever had to step away from a horror game lol. Seriously, scared the s### out of me haha

tombfan908d ago

It's already on its way for PSVR2, so, it'll be there eventually.

Neonridr908d ago

First person for me always gives that extra level of immersion. Instead of watching a character walk into a scary situation, you are the person.

You shouldn't pay for a camera option. I'm not shock Crapcom pulls this nonsense.

Neonridr908d ago

you could argue you are paying for Mercenaries and the extra story DLC. I believe they just added this in because people complained enough after RE7 and RE8.

HeliosHex908d ago

It's not even up for debate. First person is always scarier. Want proof? Play the exorcist vr. 3rd person is just fun eye candy.

gold_drake908d ago

scarier is definitely 1st perso , cause they're up and close ha.

Lol I doubt iPhone contributed much to that figure, the vast majority would have been PS5 and PC.

mastershredder318d ago (Edited 318d ago )

Yeah, of course the mobile sites are going to make news out of the couple digit in-the-thousands or so downloads as a major contribution. The original story was that Village hit the 10 million mark across all the platforms, nice for mobile fans to take it up a serious notch like it was due on behalf of mobile.
