I've not tried anyone other than Batgirl yet. I picked Batgirl because she is the closet to Batman in how she plays and traversal.

ive played all 4 for several hours each already. batgirl is definitely my favorite. red hood is probably my least favorite, but they're all pretty fun. batgirl... i dont know. it just feels like the person the game was built for.

Batgirl is the "easiest" to play. She's kind of like a paladin with good melee and ranged damage. Her second wind is great and completely ignoring cameras and laser fields is a massive time saver.

Robin is my second favorite since another time saver is just stealth-taking down anyone other than bosses. No need to plan around them as the last fighting during organ transplant missions, for example. Robin's movement skill is pretty dumb, IMHO. You can move the same distance using the teleport by just grapple hooking the same distance.

Nightwing is all about building and continually using momentum abilities. His damage in melee is about the same as batgirl but I find much harder to time for perfect combos. His ranged is utter garbage. But, if you can keep momentum generating and get one momentum action off every few seconds, you're doing well. I found this hard to do.

Red Hood is boring and should have been canned, IMHO. His whole thing is grabbing and throwing to drop concussive mines. That's about it. Okay, maybe it's more, but I haven't even unlocked his knight skill tree because he is just boring and you do the same thing over and over that it feels way more monotonous of each of the characters. Let alone his biggest ability involves being in melee. Also, I find it harder to do perfect combos with the gun since you're guaging attacks at ranged now.

I'm 11 hours into the game & that's total BS. I enjoy playing with all characters but I have to say for me Robin's combat set is a bit more flashy & fast.

i prefer batgirl because the 'rangs are way better than the pebbles robin tosses around, but robin is a badass in the game. my biggest gripe with the game is how photo mode doesnt remove the arcade-y hit effects. it would be SO MUCH BETTER taking screenshots without stupid tekken-like flashes of light by their faces when they're being punched.
