Sony revealed the details of its DualSense Edge wireless controller, so it's natural to compare it to the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2.
Playstation writes: "The latest PS5 accessories get a new look with the Midnight Black Collection – bringing the galaxy-inspired Midnight Black colorway to the PlayStation Portal remote player, DualSense Edge wireless controller, Pulse Elite wireless headset, and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds."
I recently decided to invest in a new DualSense, Pulse headset, and console plates for my PS5. All Midnight Black. Love the blacked out look.
Does this mean we will soon hear about "ALL BLACK COVER PLATES" for the PS5 & Pro models?
Push Square writes: "Sony has published a new PlayStation Accessories app for PC that allows DualSense Edge owners to access the entire suite of features the high-end controller has to offer."
VGC writes: "Both the standard and digital models are going up by around $90."
Even accounting for the weak yen, that seems a bit excessive. It’s even stranger considering the rumors of a PS5 Pro possibly launching by the end of the year, which means that in Japan, it could cost significantly more than $600, probably close to $700 - a high price for a console.
Sony just leaving it up to Nintendo at this point. PS5 obviously not gonna be a mainstream product over there. Xbox is not relevant.
Folks in the U.S. don’t understand that the U.S. had one of the lowest rates of inflation. It’s worse in almost every other country and the U.S. dollar is a lot stronger which makes imports even cheaper. I would love to see deflation but we’d need a recession and mass layoffs before that would happen,
It’s a nice looking controller but they lost me at $199. It’s just too much imo. The Elite Series 2 is $155 on Amazon.
Mannnn I just can’t swing them prices for a controller. Didn’t do it for the elite, won’t do it now.
The xbox just feels more comfortable, having the left thumbstick in the upper left corner. I used to always own playstation consoles, but when I got my hands on a 360 controller, I was hooked ever since.
If the battery is at least 20hrs then it's a day one but they haven't said anything about it yet so...
I might as well just get that back button attachment mod on amazon at this point, I can't stand the horrid short battery on PS controllers and constantly seeing that low battery indicator every couple of gaming sessions I do...
some out of date controller vs the latest and greatest tech on the market
do people really compare ladas to a rolls royce
