VGChartz's Paul Broussard: "Ultimately, though, a combat game has to be judged by how good its combat is, and in that respect Soulstice passes with flying colors. There are a few rough spots here and there, but as a whole this is a genuinely great effort, and especially impressive considering this is Reply Games' first attempt at a game in this genre. Let's all agree to buy a copy so that Briar can afford a full set of pants for the sequel."
