GTA 5's focus on realism and narrative has caused some long-time fans to migrate over to Saints Row for its over-the-top action-packed antics.
I'm surprised they didn't go harder with customizing the world by building your criminal empire by region. Could have done a lot more with that with regards to what you see in each region. Why not have people in one region zooming around on hoverboards or throwing tech footballs and in another one have people actively doing insurance fraud?
I think the game is fun but could have been so much better. It feels like a 'toned down' version of Saints Row in basically every area. It feels like they were worried about offending anyone or taking any risks. Safe Row would be a more appropriate title.
