Between GWG and Game Pass, where do you think publishers would rather put their newer games? MS can't force publishers to put their games on GWG.

Yeah so they should stop investing money into games that only a very small percentage of their users will play. It's month after month of lackluster titles and they need change it up, I'd rather them just do 1 worthwhile game a month than 4 that most users will never touch, because as of now they're just wasting their money and most users are seeing 0 benefit from it.

Considering how expensive portal 2 still is in the store, and how rare the physical copies are these days, I'd say that's a good addition. It's also upgraded to 4K on the X consoles.

Don't know much about the other ones, but it looks like a better month than usual. Which probably says more about how bad it usually is.

garryxcs - Eh, semantics. I pay for a large amount of content, through Gold/Game Pass. Technically, sure, you are right; however, they are games 'given' to me under the umbrella of the platform, that I've not had to outright buy..

If they didn't offer them to me for "free," I would have had to spend *extra* money for them.

Nah... they will be removing 360 games from the monthly rotation starting in October (I think) but GwG will still be very much a thing. I assume there will just be more XBO gen games going forward and maybe a series level title or two.

Yeah this is the last 360 title, which tbh, Portal 2 is a good way to go out with a bang.

Just here to watch both camps fight each other over which out of date games are thrown at you to disguise the fact you pay companies hundreds of dollars every generation just to have multiplayer.

Heck, not just multiplayer but we’re still paying for cloud saves that take up barely any space.

Sooner or later MP and saves will be free but the companies will drag it out and hold onto the current setup for as long as possible. Too much revenue at stake, revenue that is mostly profit.

There will always be a way for companies to milk us. I still laugh at the days of cell phone providers giving you a set amount of minutes…but hey after 8pm do what you want! Free nights and weekends! Everyone waited until after 8pm obviously and it had no affect on the networks, a scam if I ever saw one...but we all just went along with it like sheep.

Portal 2 is a great game. (So why doesn’t Valve make a current gen remaster?) And those who get it from Xbox Live Gold can keep it. But this is the last month of Xbox 360 offerings and looks like Xbox Love Gold will never have Xbox Series X offerings. Super sad compared to PS+ Essential.
