CG writes: We take another look at AntiZero’s in-development adult PC VR/Flatscreen/Meta Quest game Captain Hardcore, which yesterday received another update (0.13). For the first time we get to see the promised first person shooter style gameplay elements. The game features a combination of model posing and interaction, fused with exploration of the galaxy in your spaceship. Players can now teleport to a nearby space-station to rescue a captured babe. This entails working through 8 deadly floors against rather salacious sounding bots.
CG writes: Today we’re going to do something slightly different to what we’ve done before when looking at adult VR games. In this video, we’re going to look at adult VR games that have gamey elements. What we’ve discovered is that many of these games and experiences are basic model posers and viewers and nothing more, but they’re still classed as adult VR games. In this video we’re going to look at the top five adult vr games that actually have gameplay it’s not that many to be honest compared to the amount of model posers and viewers out there. There’s a reason for this and that’s due to the fact that it’s far easier for a developer to create a project as a model viewer poser rather than including the gameplay elements that people might be looking for, so this list is pretty unique.
CG writes: Developer AntiZero just dropped Captain Hardcore version 0.18 and we’re flabbergasted at the inclusion of a completely unrelated to anything sci-fi new suburbs location. This new quite expansive housing estate joins the gothic rooms and some other oddities already in the scene posing section. Players can place characters, animate them and also add various props including customizable wall artwork. It’s a nice inclusion despite being somewhat unfitting of the main theme of the game. It’s also playable via desktop and in VR.
CG writes: We play around with the standalone Meta Quest version of Captain Hardcore using our lovable Quest 3. In these videos we use the Quest 3 passthrough and place props within our real world environment before placing female characters in the mix. This is really neat and suggests that in the future (once the characters are able to navigate spaces and perhaps move around on their own) players can almost be living inside games like, The Sims. There are two safe (ish) for work videos here on Youtube, but as you might not be aware, the game Captain Hardcore contains adult content which is demonstrated in the over 18s link provided. Let the Blade Runner 2049 Joi fantasies commence.
You could probably recreate what they do in the movie by having a real person stand still with the game model placed over them. If somehow you could enable hand tracking and controllers at the same time, then the other person could possess the character holding the controllers, with the main player using hand tracking to touch, hold, squeeze etc. Spookily cool if possible.
