From VG247: "It’s been possible to play Nintendo Switch games on devices that aren’t the Nintendo Switch for a while now. This is nothing new. But, over the last couple of weeks, I really feel like I’ve sensed a shift in the scale of the conversation – and though it’s anecdotal, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 feels like a sea change.
To explain what I mean, let me give you a little bit of website inside baseball. As you’ve probably noticed, game guides are a major part of the business model for outlets like VG247. What guides we produce are determined by two key factors.
The first is intuition – we play the game and figure out what we feel people are going to get stuck on or worry about enough to pick up their phone and punch in a search. Once a game is released, we can track what people are typing into Google, Bing, and other such search engines more directly. And if we see a particular search spiking in popularity and frequency, we know that we should probably do a guide on it."
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Future Redeemed marked the end of the Klaus saga. What's next for the series, if anything at all?
I’m hoping they’ll do a sequel to Xenoblade Chronicles X sometime. It ended on a cliffhanger, and concept art shows that the areas we explored in X are just a small part of a larger world. I still think the Xenoblade Chronicles trilogy and X are connected somehow.
Whatever it is, I'm in :) loved all the Xenos!!! X sequel or Gears/Saga remake would rock or something completely new
NE: "Today, we discuss 5 of the saddest Nintendo endings of all time."
Xenoblade 3 executive director and writer Tetsuya Takahashi talks about the City and Citizens fates, including Monica and Ghondor.
Piracy is too minor to have a huge effect on sales. Plus you need a good PC. PC piracy is huge yet games still do well on PC. If only a great consumer friendly storefront like Steam existed to actually make people want to make legal purchases...oh.
It's so easy to just torrent Switch games, everyday there are new games added from repacker FitGirl. 😊 I do have a OLED Switch but, playing Switch games on PC is much better if your home. Ryujinx and Yuzu are really good Switch emulators games run very smooth no FPS drops depending on the emulator and you can upscale games to 4k/60FPS even with ray tracing mods. Nintendo is missing out on bringing a few of their games over to PC, they can really see their potential in their games without much sacrifice.
