This game is what it is. There are people that love doing crosswords, and people that hate them. Merv Griffin's Crosswords will probably find its fans, but there's really nothing to keep most people interested. The Game Show mode won't see much action, but if you love doing crossword puzzles, there's no doubt you can spend some serious time in the other modes. Just remember, there's nothing there that you can't find a whole lot cheaper in the daily paper.
