Bayonetta 3 has added a ‘nudity censoring mode’, says Platinum

From VGC: "Bayonetta 3 will include a feature that stops its protagonist losing her clothes when she performs certain moves, according to its developer.

A new tweet posted by PlatinumGames explains the feature, which it’s calling “Naive Angel Mode”.

Quick moms coming. Turn on the filter. 😄

masterfox1053d ago

seriously last month we were annoyed with the pride lgbthh whatever is, with dozens of people near naked walking in the streets like if wasnt anything wrong and alongside with children as well, really it was disgusting seeing children walking with people like that dressing/behaving like that, and now a videogame that with probably miliseconds showing a female character showing something are going to be offended ?, and need censoring?, so more people can enjoy?, da funk! is going on with society principles and moral.

In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule.

This game is not targeted to children, Nintendo is giving an option so that a few youngsters (not children) can play this game, which is fair enough. Not sure where LGBT fits in this subject, tho.

ThEusAisPoisonous1053d ago

Not targeted at children? But it’s on the Switch…

Neonridr1052d ago

@ThEusAisPoisonous - so Doom and Wolfenstein were targeted at the 7 year olds?

VenomUK1053d ago

Kotaku will be pleased at this news, but would prefer the nudity to be removed completely because it stands against the male gaze of women.

Yui_Suzumiya1053d ago

Have the folks from Kotaku play something like the 18+ versions of Nekopara, The Fruit of Grisaia or Rance on PC and they'll all die of heart attacks and we don't have to worry about them no more, lol

gamer78041053d ago

I haven’t read a kotaku article in years. They are pure agenda driven nonsense

Eonjay1052d ago (Edited 1052d ago )

Your comment doesn't make sense because you need to make up your mind. Either you okay with nudity or you aren't okay with nudity. Which is it? You are mad because Platinum is squeamish about exposing nudity and you are also mad because people at a parade aren't squeamish about exposing nudity.

Also I would advise you to stop looking at other people if not being able to impose your will on them bothers you which it clearly does

masterfox1052d ago

Yeah I should add more context of what I said, what I was referring was is that developers shouldn't restrict themselves with adding nonsense options and waste their time with it just because some people may be offended to see some boooobs, legs or parts of it, just release the game as it is like it was in the past and move on.

Excellent. I love how that option is on Nintendo Switch, cuz of what it means when it’s off. That’s one mode that will never be engaged.

Bayonetta 3's Director Was Worried Hideki Kamiya Would Interfere

PlatinumGames has released the first of a four-part documentary examining the development of Bayonetta 3. It's jam-packed with fascinating anecdotes from the team, including a rather surprising revelation from the game's director, Yusuke Miyata.

Miyata confirmed that Hideki Kamiya, creator of the Bayonetta franchise, approached him directly to offer up the role of the sequel's director. However, instead of jumping at the opportunity, Miyata was initially hesitant and was worried that Kamiya himself would interfere in the project too much.
