From VGC: "The producer of the upcoming Klonoa: Phantasy Reverie Series has said he hopes the game will be successful enough to lead to more Klonoa titles.
Phantasy Reverie Series consists of remasters of PS1 game Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (specifically its Wii remake) and its PS2 sequel Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil.
But in an interview in the next issue of game journal Lock-On (which can currently be pre-ordered), producer Ryo Ishida said that while the main aim is to make players aware of Klonoa, he hopes it will lead to further releases in the future."
Bandai Namco is among the lineup of publishers with a Holiday 2023 sale on the Switch eShop, with games like Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, more at their lowest prices ever. Fans of Dragon Ball, Naruto, Sword Art Online, and more may also find something to pick up here.
Teardown out today, November 15, all other titles available from November 21.
Been thinking of getting Teardown on Steam for Steam Deck play. Heard a lot of great reviews for it.
Nothing of interest for me. My sub is up in 2 weeks & I'll go with Essentials only for cloud saves & online. Having Extra or Premium is a waste for me seeing most games that land on the service are old that I've played already or old games I never had any interest in playing.
Bandai Namco Switch eShop sale for November 2023 includes big discounts for Klonoa, Digimon World, and more.
Klonoa 3 and more potentially? We need to succeed buy this guys please
Klonoa 1 and 2 are both important entries in the 2.5D platformer genre.
Klonoa 1 was impressive for its time, but Klonoa 2 is on a different level.
Oh man those boss fights! and that K2 soundtrack! and Tat! The amazing level transitions were so much fun.
Klonoa deserves the best Bandai Namco can muster.
