It’s the artists and designers that encourage and push for it. And if you’re someone at a higher/executive level, what are you going to say? “No, you can’t work on and release this.” So as long as it doesn’t cost the company too much to do they will support it.

Incorrect, to me at least. People are all equally trashy regardless of their melanin content or which genitals they prefer to put their mouth on. So I judge everyone as equal as I can, yet I still see the divide brought on these days. I see LGBTQ leftists fighting one another all the time because they're not on a team, they're several different teams lumped together that don't even agree with one another. The media isn't about bringing these groups together, they display it so much so the controversy can drive traffic, pushing the divide even further

I always liked those events in school. During February, we always had to do a book report on prominent Black figures in history. Thoroughly loved it enough to just make it a personal tradition to engage with cultural literature. Same with Hispanic History and Asian history. It really generated a ton of interest and fascination in learning about other cultures for me. That said, I've yet to start any tradition for reading literature during Pride Month. That needs to be a thing for me.

If anything, I would say it encourages people to learn about each other and relate better.

Frankly, I'm glad Pride Month exists. I have no personal stake in it, but this is a community that has really been historically forced into silence and compliance to avoid punishment. Wouldn't you say Pride Month is a reflection of how progress? To be able to say that people who once hid who they were can be open and proud of it?

To each their own, but I think it's great to do these things. The world is not in a state of equality and while I would certainly be willing to adopt your view one day, we're not there yet.

I'm a straight woman & I think this is adorable because kids know they are different from others when it comes to being lgbtq. I've been hearing so many different lgtbtq stories from lgbtq folks for over 35 years now & no one will understand unless one has walked in someone elses shoes. Folks don't have to accept one's lifestyle but at least have respect for the person knowing everyone wants respect & respect should always be reciprocated. I wish I still had Sackboy to play the dlc or it was on PS Premium. Kudos to Sony for the dlc. Happy Pride.

I work with Gay & Trans folks at my job which is at a university including the fact that I have some Gay & trans friends & those friends are the most caring,selfless,loving,giving & down to earth people I have ever known the very reason I support the lgbtq community. Some of them are gamers as well & every weekend we play games like Dying Light 2,Destiny 2 & few other co-op games.

Would gay people be offended if they gave out straight pride DLC to parade around in a game? I’m just asking not trying to take the piss out of anyone. I’m happy that gay people get to fly their flag in games so everyone knows. I’m just curious what the reaction would be if straight people could fly their flag in a game as a celebration of their sexual preference.
