WTMG's Leo Faria: "I like Gravitar: Recharged more than the vast majority of Atari’s Recharged series of retro revivals. It’s the one game in this series where I feel like a lot more effort has been put in order to make it stand out among the myriad of arcade-inspired indies out in the market. Instead of featuring the same vector visuals and repetitive power-ups present in all other Recharged games, this title boasts a brand new art style and brand new content, being more than just a remake of an old game, but a “reboot-quel” of sorts, as well as a means to introduce newcomers to one of Atari’s long-forgotten franchises. If this is what the Recharged games will look and feel like from now on, then I’ll stop complaining about their repetitiveness. More of this, please."

CCG writes - "Gravitar: Recharged is a fun re-imagining of a cult-classic arcade. Gravitar was not a hit when it was first released, but became more popular as time went on, and Gravitar: Recharged will no doubt attract many new fans - at the very minimum with a force proportional to the product of their masses (and inversely proportional to the distance between them)."
Neil writes: "You've got to give it to Atari for going all in with their remastering of old classics, tagging them Recharged in the process. Whilst the first set of games were some of the most iconic of all games, there's still a huge back catalogue to paint with the remaster brush. The next game to be stroked is that of Gravitar: Recharged."
