"The Wales-based (the UK) multi-award-winning video games and interactive movie publisher & developer Wales Interactive, today announced with great thrill and delight that their 1-4 player co-op round-based survival FPS "Sker Ritual" (the spiritual successor to the award-winning British horror, "Maid of Sker") is coming to PC via Steam this Summer (2022).
Furthermore, Wales Interactive has also just announced that "Sker Ritual" isn't just coming to PC but to next-gen consoles (the PS5 and Xbox Series X) as well. However, the next-gen console release won't happen until sometime later this year (2022)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
A leftfield spinoff from 2020’s Maid of Sker, this multiplayer shooter is best suited to Call of Duty zombies mode veterans.
WTMG's Aaron Price: "Overall, Sker Ritual was a lot more of what I wanted and way more than I could have expected from it. Is this going to be a Call of Duty: Zombies killer? Maybe not as of now, but it’s clearly a really good step in the right direction, as that series simply doesn’t care about having to improve anymore. Even though it’s completely different from its predecessor, Sker Ritual is a pleasant surprise, a well-polished game, and something I definitely plan to continue returning to often, especially if there are any big content updates in the future."
Are you looking for a game that scratches that classic CoD Zombie itch? Then maybe Sker Ritual might be for you.
