10 years ago, Willy Morgan’s dad Henry went missing. One day, while his mother Mother is in the Amazon on some kind of an expedition, Willy gets a letter seemingly from his father, asking him to head to nearby Bone Town. Check out Peterdea's review of this lovely point-and-click adventure on the Nintendo Switch.
Richard writes: "If I asked you to name me a point-and-click adventure game about pirates, you would obviously respond with Monkey Island. Facetiously, I would say you were wrong and introduce to you this latest release: Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town is out now on Xbox and PlayStation."
The art style is nice, but I never have fun with these traditional point and click games.
Just not for me.
If anything, I'll watch a playthrough from a commentator that I like; sort of like watching a movie with a buddy joking through the entire thing.
I grew up on these point and click adventure games and absolutely loved them. All of them. Owned them all, completed them all.
The strangest thing is they just don’t work anymore in todays society and I don’t know why. They just fail to hold interest. Even going back to what I considered some of the greatest.
I just don’t understand why they don’t work anymore and feel sorry for those who never experienced these games growing up. Even I can’t play them anymore. Very strange.
Now we need revolution studio to give us a proper Broken Sword but I would prefer the 2d animation instead...
VLG Publishing, Leonardo Interactive, and imaginarylab announced today that Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town is releasing on the Nintendo Switch next week.
