Relayer Review - Mech SRPG? Count Me In - Noisy Pixel

Azario Lopez: "Relayer is an exceptionally niche SRPG that may slide under your radar if you aren’t explicitly looking for it. I would say it’s a game made for fans of the genre, but the mechs and sci-fi narrative open it up to a broader fandom. The SRPG features are accessible, and the systems for customization are deep enough to enjoy, no matter how familiar you are with these games. However, the narrative and pacing are weak, which weighs heavily on the enjoyment as it requires a level of investment that you will likely never have."

Call of Duty is right at $20. Same with Guardians at $15. Can’t really go wrong at those prices.

1) I didn’t know GameFly still existed and 2) For around $10 a month on PlayStation and around $16 a month on Xbox you can get many of these games with the subscriptions. Physical media has been given letter of intent. As they get better and more robust, places like GameFly will have to find a way to be involved in the digital age or shutdown.

You couldn't be more wrong. Digital is thriving but so is physical. They will co exist just fine at 65% digital-30-35% physical

And as far as gamefly is concerned I only use them to buy game haven't rented in a while. Please don't be in a rush for all digital because more options aren't a bad thing. These companies already control so much and if we go all digital than they will control the Market and dictate how business is run

I fully agree. Sadly my physical games purchases has dropped significantly. In fact I myself have a series X and a PS5 and most of my friends/family have PS5s. I have yet to see a PS5 or Series X disc/game case in person in someone’s home. It’s probably been 3 or more years since I’ve bought a physical game. Gamespass/PS Plus won’t help matters and I’ve subscribed to both. I’ll still buy my day one titles. I’m one of those guys that buys all the AAA games that come out that have interested me. Like 10 or so games a year depending on the year. That used to be all physical and collectors editions. Sad times.
