Evil Avatar writes: "Yukes has been refining it's men-in-tights fighting game for years now. With WWE's popularity on the slide how have they kept the game interesting?
The latest in a consistently good but not great wrestling series and the third "next-gen" iteration Smackdown vs Raw 2009 makes the same promises as each of it's predecessors have. More wrestlers, more moves, more match types and more fun. The game delivers but it's a very similar experience that will leave you wondering why you the spent hard-earned cash. Unfortunately, the game is a bland experience that takes no advantage of it's virtual setting. That it unless you push past the stuffy story mode."
The Good
* Most complete moveset yet.
* Most complete set of matches yet.
* Backstage areas make a limited return.
The Bad
* No real game changing moves.
* Not every match type is here.
* Not nearly as crazy as it should be.
The Ugly
* Disgustingly bad network code.
One week from the next gen release of WWE 2K15, let's take a look at how moves and animations have evolved (?) through the WWE Games series... After comparing the character models with last week's video, we now look at the animation of several finishers / signature moves.
Many of the old animations look better than the new ones especially the Sweet Chin Music and Goldberg's spear. The 2K14 Clothesline from Hell looks awesome though.
Comparing the face textures of WWE Games character models through the years... featuring John Cena, Booker T, JBL, Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Mr. McMahon and many more... evolution?
I hope that was the last generation version of 2k15 if it is I'm canceling my pre order.
WWE have produced a lot of video games in their time, with varying degrees of quality. Which are the best though? Jason Delacey tries to pick five Stone Cold Stunners.
Here comes the pain.... all time fav WWE...
