Casualties at GameSpot as CBS merges sites
GI.Biz writes: "CBS Interactive is laying off staff over a number of its websites including GameSpot.com, as it merges titles following the acquisition of CNet.
GameSpot will now be incorporated into a single group including sports and music properties such as Last.fm and CBSSports.com
"CBS Interactive continues its integration process, which now calls for the further combination of several portions of the division into unified groups oriented around similar content," said CBS in a statement."
