Good lord I'd like to believe it couldnt possibly be any worse than Welcome to Racoon City from recent, but my expectations are on the floor.

iNcRiMiNaTi787d ago

What you didn't like Leon who got his weapon taken from him by someone INSIDE a prison cell? xD

Blastoise787d ago (Edited 787d ago )

That scene is a drop in the ocean in terms of what is wrong with that movie 😆

monkey602787d ago

I dont think an adaptation ever made me angry before. I typically roll my eyes or laugh, but I was so vexed over the bumbling idiot they made Leon out to be.

1Victor787d ago

I hope it’s like the Korean zombie shows they have on Netflix but with more action but I’m not holding my breath

-Foxtrot787d ago

The film is worse in terms of game adaptations because they looked like they tried to follow the games but also at the same time they didn’t

Like the director, this “HUGE” fan of the games thought he knew better and put in small references from the games to make fans “nerdgasm”

skyrimer787d ago

It stays up there face to face with the Super Mario movie among the worst videogame movies in history, it was that bad.

ZeekQuattro787d ago

Its going to be abruptly canceled shortly after release like Cowboy Bebop or Jupiter's Legacy. Might as well sweep those expectations under the rug and move on. lol

Profchaos787d ago

Yeah cowboy bebop still was one of the highest rated shows in Netflix in terms of views.

Netflix just makes zero sense sometimes on what they cancel or approve for follow up seasons they cancel lots of shows before a second season making diving into a new show a risk whereas most platforms at least allow two seasons to get things going

Profchaos787d ago

Yeah I have to admit I really enjoyed that movie.

I know what people say about bit but it was fun and honestly filmed really well with it's 90s setting.

Lance Reddick as Wesker… I uh, I don’t think whoever is making this played the game

LOGICWINS787d ago

Why? Don’t you see the resemblance? 🤣

CrimsonWing69787d ago

I’m trying like hell to, lol

pietro1212787d ago

It’s going to be awful, which is sad because Resident Evil is one of those titles that would be easy to adapt

Kosic787d ago

After the trash that was the movies. I don't have any hope on this.

Xbox No Longer Has Its Head In The Game

Microsoft & Xbox have shut down Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks to lay off more workers, insinuating that they're not in the game anymore.

XiNatsuDragnel2d ago

They're headless for a long time because closing tango isn't exactly a good move

PapaBop1d 3h ago

Ever since that cringe Kinect reveal they've never been the same. They used to make some amazing games and do great deals with third parties Early on in the 360 era they had games like Chromehounds and Shadowrun, both well ahead of their time. Now instead of nurturing their studios, they'd rather gaslight gamers and throw billions on pre existing studios. Not sure how Spencer is still in a job, I wouldn't trust him to organise a piss-up in a brewery.

Father__Merrin1d 3h ago

We've said all along Spencer needs to go. I wish xbox went back to xbox only with new gears fable forza halo releases lots of third party releases

Those early rainbow 6 Vegas days and phantasy star universe are gone forever

S2Killinit1d ago

MS has its head in the game but the game they are playing is something different from what console gamers expect from a platform. MS’s end game has always been to use the xbox as a trojan horse.

XiNatsuDragnel22h ago

Lol that's funny well this plan they have isn't working homie

Acquisitions always come with cuts

“Acquisitions always come with cuts”

343 trillion points shield activated
343 trillion percent damage negate activated
All damage reduced to 1 for 343 trillion turns.
MICROSOFT DEFENSE FORCE IS A GO

Tacoboto1d 20h ago

Especially for Microsoft, when Booty pretty much said they didn't know how to handle that many studios.

Why even make the acquisition then.

-Foxtrot1d 19h ago

Didn’t they make the swipe for Bethesda when Sony wanted like 6 months exclusiveness for Starfield

It’s like…chill, you got Rise of the Tomb Raider for a year.

romulus231d 18h ago

Do they always come with senseless cuts becasue that's exactly what cutting Tango was, senseless.

H91d 20h ago

Everyone's acting now that game companies care about games and Xbox is committing the Ultimate betrayal, they are all like this and you have just been quiet about it for far too long

Nuclearmoon1d 19h ago

I wonder if Microsoft do pull out of the console market that it might open the door for valve to relaunch the Steambox. Competition is good for the industry but Microsoft don't even seem to be trying anymore.

UltimateOwnage1d 16h ago

Steam / Valve are one of the few truly pro-consumer bright spots in gaming right now. Thankfully.

Jingsing3h ago

From all the money Valve make from Steam they reinvest almost 0 into creating new AAA titles for the PC platform, Absolutely no giving nothing back in that regard. Wake up.

jwillj2k41d 18h ago (Edited 1d 18h ago )

“Your game has won some pretty significant awards and is a show piece for where we want to go in the future.”

1 hour later.

“We’re gonna have to let you go. You can’t cover our 100 billion dollar acquisition. Oh and take your awards too 👍🏾”

Microsoft Opening Xbox Mobile Game Store in July

The Xbox brand is expanding, as an Xbox mobile game store is opening this coming July where Microsoft will brings its "first-party portfolio."

Jin_Sakai3d ago (Edited 3d ago )

“Bond adds that they will start on the web”

This will go nowhere.

Nice knowing you Xbox. This is what happens when the house never gets cleaned.

MrDead3d ago

The only this MS is expanding is the amount of feculence it sprays on everyone who just want to enjoy gaming and make games.

The best thing MS can do for the gaming industry is leave and never return.

XiNatsuDragnel3d ago

Good luck with this even it might not succeed.
