The Lands Between is an enormous open world with a myriad of exciting and dangerous bosses to encounter, from the largest demigods to the smallest dungeon dwellers.
Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and A24 today announced their collaboration with writer and director Alex Garland for a live-action film adaptation of FromSoftware Inc.’s world-renowned video game ELDEN RING.
Why? These live action adaptations have been oh so terrible lol. I know sonic is successful but I just couldn't enjoy the first movie. You cannot adapt a full game especially a 70+hr rpg into a small 1-2hr movie without many cuts.
But I suppose their goal is to reach more people with these films I guess.
It all depends on the creative talent in these projects. Last of Us and Fallout are good, but Halo is sad.
I understand opinions and all but...
What in the world was pretty good about the Halo series??
The only video game adaptation that I felt went above and beyond was the Sonic movies, and they almost fumbled the first one, Mario was alright too.
I'll get downvoted to hell for this but despite Jim Carrey as Robotnik I think the films could have been better, they shouldn't have included the real world, they should have stayed on Mobius. Hell I would have rather seen animation since the Sonic Mania / Origin cutscenes were great.
I still think the Sonic the Hedgehog OVA movie is better.
Usually agree but give Alex Garland a chance, his other movies are amazing, this is clearly a project aiming for a high standard as opposed to just some shameless cash grab.
Agreed, given his track record and in-depth research he puts into each project, not to mention writers and subject matter choices he makes, I would absolutely give Alex Garland a chance. I'm intrigued, and think he has a good chance of making this work.
Same! You can make an argument for each Miyazaki game but this one and Elden Ring always seemed like a god choice for live action (or animated series)

Some of the best PS5 games are exclusives like God of War Ragnarok and Astro Bot, but there are some indie highlights as well.
The only ones I had problem with on my way to Platinum was Malenia and Fire Giant, rest was fairly "easy" fights.
Including Margit before Fire Giant on this can't be right, and Godskin Duo that high??? No way.
l can't bring myself to feel joy beating Radahn. The lore around him and his normal horse...god it's adorable.
Also l hope they bring melee in line with int builds. ATM not a soul doing speed runs does melee outside bleed. Kind of sad theres two meta builds cause nothing else comes close. The game was built around melee which is easy to see...int gets a free pass due to crazy tanky summons (looking at you Mimic)
It feels great when you figure out a way to beat the bosses after a sh*t load of deaths
For me, Elden Beast is the hardest. Fighting with depleted resources, dealing with the camera, accidental crouching, the precision required at every turn. I've come close but just can't crack him yet
Not played it yet how hard are they compared to Ds3 bosses aka Dancer boss or Twin Prince's from DS3
