While the real-time strategy genre still struggles to find a home on consoles, some developers are beginning to think outside of the box. Just recently, Ubisoft released EndWar, an RTS that shifts the camera perspective down to the level of the action and opted for a voice command system. Stormrise, an upcoming RTS from Creative Assembly and SEGA, has similar aspirations. The camera follows specific units at ground level while a new "Whip Select" control interface makes switching between units on the fly a breeze. IGN got their first chance to try it out when SEGA stopped by the IGN office for a demo.
