Kingdom Karts is a missed opportunity. You have Square doing this and then someone else is is doing a Disney themed one. A Kingdom Karts game would be a big hit.

Orchard954d ago

Just wanted to say... I love the name Kingdom Karts!

ZeekQuattro954d ago

A friend of mine is a KH fanatic. He referred to it by that name and even as a none fan the title stuck with me. We're always talking about what would make for a great videogame entry.

Kingdom Karts is an awesome name, and I'm surprised we don't see any KH characters in this game or the Disney Cart racer that was just announced. Did Disney forget that Sora and company are Disney characters?

KingofBandits954d ago

blame Disney. Square can't do anything with KH without their OK, which is really stupid to me as its not the disney characters that make the games what they are. I guess it was easier and cheaper to surrender the rights to the games then pay continuing royalties to Disney.

gold_drake953d ago

yea.
but its not up to Square.
if disney doesnt say yes to such an idea, they cant do it.
its unfortunate, but true.

"Another nice thing to see from an industry that has historically had many shortcomings when it comes to protecting the people who work within it, is the reaction of quite a few video game companies to the abortion rights debacle in United States. While many indie developers and smaller studios quickly voiced their concern and support for human rights, the first big studio to do so was Bungie, which among other things has promised to cover the costs of anyone who needs to travel to another state to receive the care they need." -- I think it is HYSTERICAl that these companies have Jedi-Mindtricked people into thinking that it is waaay more altruistic to spend a couple bucks to get some woman to kill her kid and then come right back to work instead of paying more in the long run for maternity and child care.

People can do what they want with their lives it’s up to them . I don’t think abortion is a great thing but who am I to say you have that kid you don’t want ?

Square do buisness good....

DarkZane640d ago

This now makes me want to buy it.

MeteorPanda640d ago

What support? They made a single player game with multiplayer into some sort of money sink - no one wanted that, they need to fire the people pushing games in these directions

TheColbertinator640d ago

Somehow the morons at Square Enix who push this cheap drivel get promoted and given new projects to run.
