From GamesReviews: "The 32x was a good idea handled badly. Turning the Genesis into a Saturn worked on paper, but Sega forgot the most important thing: the games."
Embracer CEO demonstrates a masterclass in mental gymnastics in latest interview.
"I'm sure I deserve a lot of criticism, but I don't think my team or companies deserve all the criticism. I could take a lot of that blame myself. But ultimately I need to believe in the mission," he said.

As part of its plans to cut 1,900 jobs, Microsoft has reportedly shut down operations at Bethesda France, letting go roughly 15 people
Bethesda France was made up of roughly 15 people... they couldn't of being doing much
Bethesda France mainly did publishing and marketing within the region
Bethesda France focused on publishing and marketing in the region. And 15 people lost their jobs as part of the closure.
I wonder if this is part of Microsoft's strategy to abandoned physical media or possibly gamepass advertising makes their roles redundant you don't need to market a game as hard when the majority of players get the game as part of a sub which already promoted upcoming games
Tbh Microsoft I think Bethesda being 3rd party same with Activision would probably more competitive than thus scenario imo
The recently purchased Activision French offices might take over all the licensing and marketing for Microsoft in France from now on.
First time i played virtua fighter was on 32X. Great times.
The little magic mushroom had a lot of potential but they just made all kinds of bad decisions. Coming up with games specific for it that did not overlap with the Saturn was not in its favor. And worse of all was they didnt even really utilize the potential in the CD expansion in tandem with it.
It had really good arcade ports though. MK2, Afterburner, Space Harrier, Wrestlemania... and sad they canceled Outrun and Power Drift for it.
I've always wanted one of these, but I own a Model 3 genesis, plus they are expensive now so never gonna get it
I bought a 32X in a Genesis lot clean up the ribbon cables I don't mind the thing I own Doom looking at Star Wars and potentially After Burner for the 32X. I think the most expensive game on the 32X is Spiderman Web of Fire seen videos on it not my type of game. This thing was created when Sega of Japan and Sega of America were having a pissing contest with each other. I don't mind the little mushroom cloud Doom I have fun playing sure the music is dull but it's fun After Burner one of my favorite Sega games is a must to get I like the look of it on the 32X and that's next on my list to own. I wish Street Fighter was released on the 32X would love to have seen what it looked like.
I remember when Toys R Us had stacks of these on sale for -$20.00 when Saturn came out, then they had stacks of Saturns. Sega was dabbling in some weird territory after the Sega CD, but they were leading the way pioneering for upgradable consoles…too bad it all changed
