Not only because of the recent excellent Lukeross VR mod for Horizon Zero Dawn (and his upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod), but the recently released Resident Evil VR mod from Praydog, or REframework mod as he calls it. The mod allows PC gamers the chance to play Capcom’s games which use the RE Engine. Resident Evil 3 remake got ported to Mac, iPhone and iPad.
Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 3 Remake will be the fifth entry in the series to receive an iOS port for Apple devices.
Because the headset isn't capable of running it simply put it's not powerful enough.
Look at metro awakening on quest 3 that's pushing it to its extreme and it's quite far behind PC and PS for graphical capabilities.
For whatever reason and despite all evidence to the contrary, their are some companies bent on convincing themselves and others that people want to play premium games on Apple devices.
It's assumed apple is paying for the ports. Apple probably paid a lump sum for all the RE games so capcom is just finishing up the contract.
Or maybe Capcom sees this as port practice for the switch 2 or these ports are what the switch 2 versions will be?
