Solo Offline Campaign Progression heading to Back 4 Blood as a free update

Solo Offline Campaign Progression, as well as a number of content additions and bug fixes, will be added to Back 4 Blood according to a new roadmap provided by Turtle Rock Studios.

Interesting but I feel like this game won't make it too long. I had no ambition to finish act 2, it just feels boring and repetitive.

Smok911313d ago (Edited 1313d ago )

As I played the game I enjoyed what they did to keep the game feeling fresh with differing challenges along the way. With that, the friends I play it with loved left4dead which was a 100x more repetitive than back4blood.

Darkborn1313d ago (Edited 1313d ago )

Yeah I feel like even if I finished the game I wouldn't go back and beat it again. Like nope.

Sidewinder-1313d ago

@ Darkborn - You might even say you won't be back...for blood...

Darkborn1313d ago

Nope I probably won't be. I thought it was gonna be better after the pc and ps5 alpha tests I tried. I mainly got it to play with friends and they don't want to play anymore either. The bots are trash so it's kinda a dead end for me.

Ive been enjoying it. Only problems ive been having is theres too little ammo and weapon loot to go around. I wish we also had weapon progression as well and just add whatever attachments and upgrade them. The shop is also a little too barebones and is just rng with the weapons and attachments. Also needs to be available out of the safe room. The cards are cool but theyre the only progression so I dont see replayability lasting too long for me. Enjoying it nonetheless, have only about 5 hrs in so my opinions may change.

Especially playing with randoms that take all the ammo

MadLad1312d ago

I don't know. Been playing it nightly pretty much since release.

If the devs allow for mod support down the road, I see this thing having legs; just as L4D does.
It does feel like the modern day L4D3 that people have wanted for a long while. Enough new mechanics to make it feel as it's own thing, but familiar enough to cater to that original audience.

-Foxtrot1313d ago

Yeah it’s alright but it’s not got that spark like L4D

All those characters and nothing beats Bill, Zoe, Francis and Louis

Should have had an offline mode with progression and the like at launch 🤷🏻‍♂️

Kaze881313d ago

How about adding LAN support? This game really needs it.

lellkay1312d ago

Imagine this basic expected feature being a "free update"

MadLad1312d ago

You pretty much have to list anything as a "free update" anymore, or you get those types on the internet that that will make baseless claims they'll be charging for them.

It's lies anyway , it has starfield in the list

SoloGamer1574d ago

i can experience most of these on PS5.. most of these arent XB exclusive.. why would i play multiplatform games on an inferior console.. when i can play them on the winning console, ps5.. that actually has way more awesome EXCLUSIVES.

Plague-Doctor27574d ago

Cause you can't play all of them on a PS5? Maybe people prefer the Xbox controller? Maybe that specific game runs better on Xbox?

Why play multiplats on a PS5 when you can experience them on a PC?

The3faces574d ago

So Series X is the inferior console compared to PS5? Um ok...

Wretchedstain574d ago

Clicks and likes, clicks and likes clicks and likes... clicks and likes clicks and likes clicks and Liiiiiiiiiiiikes...

ChasterMies573d ago

Only 30 games? Wow, that must have been super hard to narrow down.

zacly573d ago

This list just shows how bad xbox is struggling. I have been an xbox owner since the original on day one. This generation caused me to switch over to playstation and I haven't looked back. They need to stop buying all these companies up and start investing in some games
