It's shocking to say that IMO gaming laptops are probably the best value right now in the PC space considering desktop components (specifically GPUs are vastly overpriced on anything above a 3060 / 6600 XT, both of which are around $100 - $200 more than they should be).
Overall this list decent, although some of their choices are questionable IMO, and it almost impossible to know and find every deal out there, but my recommendation is the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 3070 at Walmart for $1399, or the Lenovo Legion 5 3060 at Microcenter for $1299 (which sometimes drops down to $1199, and that's when you should buy it).
Of course there's the RX 6800m and 6700m laptops (only 1 model for each) which are great as well.
But avoid the RTX 3050 ti and the RTX 3080. The 3050 Ti's 4GB VRAM causes it to struggle in some games and it's going to get worse with time. The RTX 3080 is only slightly more powerful than the RTX 3070 when it comes to laptops, but cost anywhere from $500 - $1000 more it's just not a good value especially in comparison to the $1399 3070 Legion Pro.
