Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Is Dead, Long Live Smash Ultimate

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has finally come to an end, which is sad, but let's celebrate how significant it was.

In 2018 I asked my friend how online play was and he said it's trash because of lag. That was my experience with the Wii U smash also. Is Ultimate still trash online?

I think it is mostly because people are running wifi. It could get better in the future since the OLED Switch dock has an Ethernet port, at least in theory.

yup. speaking from personal experience, and even from watching online tournament play during the height of the pandemic.

I stopped bothering.

It sucks it's still trash online because it's a killer multilayer game. Hopefully the new OLED switch's ethernet port will help...
