Vamers says: "Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruins stands tall as one of the better entries in the franchise. It features excellent turn-based JRPG gameplay hearkening back to the classics. Battles also ‘feel’ incredibly good! While everything else is somewhat odd when compared to mainline Monster Hunter entries (specifically in look and feel), it ultimately comes off as quite an enjoyable entry. Catching monsters and looking after literal monster eggs is also a truly unique experience, adding a wonderful Pokemon-like element to the franchise. The game is a lovely departure for fans of the franchise, and should also serve as a novel entry point for newcomers. Overall, it is a good game serving to scratch the itch of a ‘Pokemon Hunter‘ mashup."
Today Capcom had two juicy announcements to share about the Monster Hunter Stories series of JRPG, which is becoming even more multiplatform.
Hopefully there's a physical release of this on PS4 as well, weirded out that there's no PS5 version after all these times.
I already played a bit of PC version and was hooked as I'm not into mainline MH games at all but digging the Stories series.
Real shame the game isn't cross play
Would love to dive back in if the PS4 release reinvigorated the player base
Daily Video Game writes: "Today, Amazon has just kicked off a new digital sale on several games for Nintendo Switch gamers, offering up to 67% off on many popular first-party and third-party titles such as Luigi's Mansion 3, Cult of the Lamb, and many more right now!"
Today Capcom announced its financial results for the fiscal year that ended on March 31, 2022, and they're very good.
Congratulations Capcom!
It's up to us the players to keep supporting quality traditional console videogames with ample rewards!!
Long live Capcom and long live traditional videogames!
What are traditional console video games?
Good to see RE going strong, I love the series since the original.
Dead Rising 3 made it clear to me that Capcom was housing special talent and management. Resident Evil Village may be the first RE game I ever finish.
