Total shipments and digital sales for Code Vein have surpassed two million units, publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Bandai Namco Studios announced.
Surprising for a new IP
Whoa, anime souls was a winning formula. Glad to see it. Interested to see where Tales of Arise lands. Hopefully Code Vein gets an improved sequel or maybe even an anime metroidvania spinoff.
Yeah I enjoyed code vein
I wish it had remnant from the ashes style coop, so you could play with friends at anytime and keep progress in the story
I still have the game unopened, one day I'll get to it.
It was exceedingly average.
Have you played Mortal Shell? If so, you did you think about it?
I was going to play it after this one but it was so bad it turned me off souls clones.
You should. It's the best souls-like out there imho, after Nioh of course.
aren't 95-99% games exceedingly average. plus, there's nothing wrong with that long as they're good, enjoyable games. 2 cents
But the story was not and that definitely counts in my book. I guess also if you didn't learn the combat.
The story was poor. The combat was a mess.
Yeah as i thought. You didn't learn the combat. It was nowhere near a mess. And the story was interesting. A perfect case of government trying to play god and fix something but instead making it worse. And excited to see what lies beyond their isolated city.
Way to project your political views onto a fan service anime plot 😂
@magog What political views. Did you not play the game? That's the story...fan service? Oh right...that's all you could pay attention to...makes sense now.
You know, I really liked this, but it did feel budget in design. If they put more money into production and add a larger variety of areas and enemies I think this IP could be big for Soulsborne fans.
