Ember Lab's first game isn't perfect, but it's an impressive start.
"Kena: Bridge of Spirits is beautiful, filled with charm and whimsy, and nails its gameplay - a welcome addition to the Xbox library."

Console Obsession says: "With Kena: Bridge of Spirits having been previously released on PS5 and PS4, it would have been easy to look up information to know what sort of game I was letting myself in for. But I decided to go in cold and experience the game without knowing much about it. "
Richard writes: "As Xbox gamers, we are sometimes late to the party. But that’s ok, as patience is a good quality to have. And patient gamers have been rewarded today as Kena: Bridge of Spirits has finally arrived on Xbox consoles for us all to play."
A new indie team didn’t make a perfect game ? No way . Actually when I think about it I’ve never played a perfect game
I haven't played it, but it is hands down the most gorgeous $40 game I've ever seen. I feel like a lot of people don't know this is $40. Seems like a very promising studio, can't wait to see where they go from here.
This game was made by a 15 person team and its their first game ever....think about that!
Game is really good. Not too short, not too long. Exploration and powers never overwhelm you. It's the perfect length. My only nitpick is that the boss fight mechanics are horrendous. They change direction mid air so that they always hit you or dodge your attacks. The dodge window is very very small and you need to die more than a few times to learn their attack patterns. The games suddenly turns into Dark Souls when it's mostly a beautiful chill exploration game.
