CCG writes - "There are many games created that are inspired by older properties, whether the team behind it are AAA with employees that number to the thousands, or small indie groups with as little as six or less. Some are rather subtle with their inspiration and others can be very blatant. Dark Deity by the small team of Sword & Axe is of the latter."
Humble Bundle has launched a new JRPG bundle comprised of seven JRPGs. Costing a minimum of $15 USD, the following seven games are included:
Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga
Mato Anomalies
Edge of Eternity
Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling
Nexomon: Extinction
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising
Dark Deity
Starting today, Evil Dead: The Game and Dark Deity are free at Epic Games Store. In addition, fans can claim the Rumbleverse Epic Cheerleader Pack. The free game offers run until November 24 at 11 AM Eastern. Once you claim them, they're yours to keep.
Dark Deity may seem like a Fire Emblem copy and it's hard to argue against it. However it does bring enough to the table to set itself apart.
It's not bad by any means, but it's not super great either...
