I liked the atmosphere and some of the boss fights of Prime 2 more than Prime 1. However, Prime 2 level design could be very confusing at times. The backtracking was also more arduous than what was present in Prime 1.
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is celebrating its 20th anniversary this week after an initial Gamecube launch on 15th November 2004. In a new interview with developers Jack Mathews and Zoid Kirsch from Kiwi Talkz, it's been revealed that the game's multiplayer mode nearly featured playable Space Pirates.
I chance mixed feeling about Metroid Prime 2. I think I’ve beaten Prime 2 three times. I like the atmosphere and enemies of Prime 2 more than its predecessor. However, when I replayed the entire prime trilogy as an adult, I found Prime 2 to be the most frustrating and confusing of the 3 Prime games.
Traveling into Dark Ether was a core at times and some of the bosses felt very poorly designed. I personally think Prime 1 and 3 are better than 2 as an adult. Yet, as a teen I liked Prime 2 more than Prime 1.
I definitely think the first Prime was much better and I found Echoes to be not as much fun with the whole dark corruption gameplay gimmick.
The case is cool, has this holographic effect.
Didn't really care for that one. Had a blast with Prime 1 & 3 however.
