KeenGamer: "If you are among the fans hoping for a follow-up to Supergiant Games' hit roguelike, then see how these Hades sequel changes could improve the series. With even more myths and characters still available, explore how the well of Hades is far from dried up."
Roguelike fans are spoiled for choice on PlayStation 5. Here are the ten best that everyone who has the system should try.
What about Wizards of Legend? It is one of the best roguelikes I have ever played. I even platinumed it.
Hades is currently more popular than Hades II according to Steam Deck stats, and we think the Steam Summer Sale is a big reason why.
Steam's Summer Sale looks primed for Steam Deck players - with a huge collection of titles on offer for the handheld.
I like what you had going until the better rewards section. It read as an argument to make the game easier, which, no thanks.
Honestly, being a true fan of rogue types, Hades, is an awesome display of mastery for the genre. While I am truly enamored with this product, I will say that they could adopt a few features from games like Dead Cell & Returnal. I'd really like to see an option to travel to previously explored regions instead of starting all the way from the beginning. This coupled with a boon system that, at least, tracks what you've received already. I don't know how many times I was only offered the same 2 gods in an entire run. There are duo links between the gods that require you to reach a certain level but if the options are not offered you'll never experience them. These are very minor tweaks in a near perfect execution so if they changed nothing I'd still purchase their next outing without hesitations.
I think they should go the AC route with different mythologies each sequels ( Norse etc )
