The Switch has a TON of amazing games in it's short lifespan thus far. Only complaint I heard is the limited amount of AAA third party original releases (i.e. not re-releases from previous gen)

yeah, you shouldn't purchase a Switch if you are expecting the latest Call of Duty, Battlefield, Grand Theft Auto, etc to appear on the system. It will still get its fair share of 3rd party ports, but usually less demanding titles or some remasters of older games.

Switch owners generally purchase the system for the exclusive offerings you can't get anywhere else. I have a PS4 for any of those large AAA games that the Switch is lacking.
