Hades (PS5) - Who Knew Escaping Hell Would Be So Heavenly? - Push Square

Hades has been a long time coming for PlayStation players, but the wait was certainly worth it. Supergiant's rogue-lite action title is every bit as good as you've heard, with its fast-paced combat, wonderful Boon system, and amazing story that's interlaced with the gameplay. It's a complex game, but not a complicated one; it's a brilliantly constructed thing that delivers in practically every department. Easily one of the best rogue-lite titles available, Hades lives up to the legend.

Looking forward to this. Game Pass day 1!

Can’t wait to play it on PS5! Amazing game.

Have fun! Similar experience on Game Pass. Just like PsycoNauts 2 will be. Those 2 games alone pay for my 1 year of GP. Just saying.

And I’ll gladly pay $25 and support the developer. Hades is worth every penny.

Devs will be really happy with those PS sell numbers. And I will gladly be one of them.

SullysCigar999d ago

Me too, I'm going for the full current gen experience, complete with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Otherwise it's like playing a rogue-lite-lite.

MS owns Double Fine.
So you're funding MS; not DF. You're justing funding those who write their checks.

Looking forward to this. Hades is easily one of the best games of last-gen. Just hoping they nailed the characters again in Hades 2, because they were fantastic in the first game.

It will be very hard to top.Zagreus as a main character btw.

Loved the original Hades. Can’t wait!

Nacho_Z4d ago

I was addicted to Hades, the loop pulls you in and doesn't let go. It helps the gameplay is so much fun. Working towards beating the max heat level was the most enjoyable and satisfying challenge I've had for as long as I can remember.

Over 200 hrs in the first Hades without even really realizing it. Can’t wait for 2.

I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now

Furesis13d ago

I would say it does. The combat is a bit shit for todays standards but everything else is great.

anast13d ago

It's worth a play through today.

gold_drake13d ago
