This'll have to get sorted, I'm not waiting gaps of months between gameplay mode 'expansion packs' again.

MiloGarret6043d ago

No it doesn't, it is just lacking in game modes. Right now it's the game I play the most on my psp, totally beats reading shampoo bottles while taking a crapper.

eek, good thing i saw this. i was gonna buy it!

well this is what happens when to tell the to hurry up. they release it too quickly, then patch it up later.

rbanke6043d ago (Edited 6043d ago )

as i posted in the other article about this :

I have to disagree.

I have SSHD on my ps3 and 100% of the trophies and still play it often. I couldnt wait for the psp version and bought it right when the store updated. My first playthrough i was getting good scores. I found that i was able to immediatly be nearly as good on the psp version as i am on the ps3 version (not great, good ;)). A buddy also bought it who has it on the ps3 and liked it just as much.

If you like SSHD, youll most likley like SS for the psp.

good thing you didnt read the article you stupid fvck, nothing is wrong with the game, the expansion packs arent available yet.

Psynapt1k6043d ago

I did not notice any "problems" with the game. The title is misleading - ok, so they lied on the psn page! So what - the game on the PSP is BRILLIANT and lots of fun.

Lombax6043d ago

I have this game. So as soon as I saw this I was like "Oh No!! I don't want to have the game glitch on me, lose my save data, or brick my PSP." So when I read the article I was like, "oh? ok?, I didn't even know I was supposed to have those modes." So it's no "problem", for me at least.

Amazing. Time to get back and grab that Platinum before Hogwarts, PSVR2 and Octopath Traveler 2 will steal all the time.

darthv72882d ago

I own this on my PSP and Vita. I did not see it in the article but will those versions get a patch for trophies as well?

MrNinosan882d ago

It was never released on Vita, and PSP doesn't have trophies.
So no, the PSP versions won't get trophies.

PS3 version already had it.
VR had it.
Now "PS4 and PS5" have it.

darthv72881d ago

Just like the PS4/5, you can play this PSP version on the Vita. So I dont see how it too can't have trophy support. I was playing it on my Vita [tv] last night seeing as i could not play delta (too many touch specific options). Now i did also try it on my PS5 and noticed it looked more polished than on my Vita so it may be that the game was completely rebuilt for the tv experience.

On my vita tv it looked rather grainy but then again that was running at 720p on my tv unlike when i play it on the actual vita oled screen (looks more natural). The 5 version was very clean and vibrant.

This game could really use twin-stick support. On PS Vita, you were able to map the face buttons to the right stick... can't seem to find a way to do this on PS5. Anyone have any luck?

darthv72881d ago

I like that the vita has that option. It does suck that trying to do the same on the DS4/5 controller results in nothing. I like how it looks cleaned up on the 5 though, but I will stick to playing on my vita with that added right stick acting as the face buttons.

Remember when the PS3 launched? It didn't have trophies at all. Trophy support was added in soon after launch. SO adding it to games is not unheard of.

GamesRadar: Super Stardust Portable Review

Action is intense as you navigate your tiny ship through screens filled with asteroids and other nuggets of multi-coloured debris and the PSP's screen is constantly full of dangers. In fact, this makes the game a rather tough nut to crack as it's all too easy to miss pieces of flotsam and get wiped out. Annoyingly, Sony chose to make three modes (Endless, Survival and Bomber) available as premium DLC, so for the full package you have to fork out an extra few bucks. Not bad, but not essential.
