This game is reallly good. I love it, one of the main reason why I don't want to really see Level 5 become first party. It works on the DS.

This was going to be a present for me for Christmas but no one seems to have it.

i keep up with the industry as far as most of us here, but i have never heard of this game before? Em i out of the loop or what?

Do you own a DS or played on a DS? It's a very good game but sadly a sleeper title. Professor Layton is a puzzle game with a story. It's quite popular that there is an anime movie coming out in 2010 based on the game. In Japan, the entire trilogy is done. US will be receiving the second installment soon enough.
The game is developed by Level 5.

Maybe I'll try this game out

You really should, some of the puzzles can be repetitive and frustrating but the story keeps pulling me back in.

Is this game just being released in Europe? It was released in America back in the spring. It's a great game.
