Activision-Blizzard CEO Robert "Bobby" Kotick has issued an official statement regarding the alleged sexual harassment allegations against the giant publisher.
They're removing content based on blizzard Devs known to have been sexually harassing staff or other bad behaviours, such as "Field Marshal Afrasiabi" , based on Alex Afrasiabi.
I have never disliked a CEO more than Bobby. He absolutely needs to resign, but he'd rather continue to be the face of Activision Evil with all the money he gets than resign.
If the shareholders and board of directors knows what's good for them, they'd take actions to have him removed right now as this might be their best opportunity to do so.
All you gotta do is hit him in his wallet and he'll speak up about change. He saw the walkout about to happen and his shares drop and went into panic mode. This is how we the people start change.
“In-game Changes. We have heard the input from employee and player communities that some of our in-game content is inappropriate. We are removing that content.”
Yes, the one person they all wanted to hear from. I imagine it goes something like this:
Dear Subjects,
As you know, we hear you and we want to start a conversation because we cares. Please let us know what we could improve, maybe, by leaving messages inside the idea box that's located in the kitchen. By the way, there is a camera located in the area just so we know that no one is cheating. But this process is completely confidential. We promise.
Now for some real news, I just made 150 million dollars so please send your congrats to my secretary. Oh, and you're all fired. In a difficult year that has seen us make much more money than before but be more conscious of how we use it, we are sadden to make the tough decisions.
But don't worry guys...and girls I guess, but your old jobs will be posted next week for you and thousands more to fight...er, I mean apply for.
If this thing was a man, it would have resigned immediately but this thing is sub-human scum that only cares about its millions and is now pretending that it ever cared about the people that work at Activision because it doesn't have anywhere else to hide.
Heeere we go again.
Poor Bobby clearly heard about the walkout that's supposed to happen today (Wednesday). His poor Millions!
Why are they removing in game content?
This statement is here because the shares had a big drop and now all of the sudden he cares and wants to show that he understands
