Someone decided to stuff an entire gaming computer inside of a Sega Dreamcast. Here's how they did it.
Cultured Vultures: You love the SNES, we love the SNES, so let’s look at the best SNES games ever together.
UN Squadron, Stunt Race FX, Top Gear 2, Nigel Mansell F1, Rock 'n' Roll Racing, Adam's Family, Super Probotector. Top 3 for me, Mario Kart, Legend of the Mystical Ninja and Mario World. It kills me that the Mega Drive and Super Nintendo generation has gone. Going from a Commodore 64 to a Mega Drive and Super Nintendo, the much higher costs of games, I couldn't play them all.
NVIDIA’s RTX 50 “Blackwell” architecture has been a bit of a bore for us gamers. Apart from Multi Frame Generation, which has limited use-case scenarios, there isn’t much to be excited about. It is achieved using GPU-side Flip Metering. The optical field data is generated using AI models in the Tensor cores.
Who would have thought that giving games away for free would be so lucrative?
This is cool. But, they could have at least shown it running. Even emulating Dreamcast or something.
I want a Sega Dreamcast mini now after seeing this
Proper crackhead DIY. With a Paint Job makes it looks like its made of whipped cream
Dreamcast 2 my dream form
I'd like to see a genuine official SEGA console that:
- has cartridge slot(s) compatible with Megadrive/Genesis, Master System, and 32X carts.
- plays Mega-CD, Saturn, and Dreamcast discs.
- comes pre-loaded with a handful of classics.
- no region locks
- stretch dream to include a digital storefront to purchase/download titles.
Basically a single console that plays all Sega's back catalogue. It'd be even cooler to see a Ninty version that plays NES/SNES/N64/GC/Wii/Wii-U.
And yes, I'm well aware of Raspberry Pi and RetroPie, etc.
