Excellent month. PSNow stepping it up! I hope this is a sign of things to come. Though honestly, it's been getting great games for quite a while, despite what people say.
that is solid lineup
Both have pros and cons. GP at the moment has a more attractive subscription but both are great.
I’ve just cancelled my now sub, I was barely using it and was rare there was anything new on there I played for more than 15 mins. I’m very hopeful now will be come far more competitive compared to GP in the next few years though. I mean it pretty much has to doesn’t it? The psplus freebies routinely smash the games with gold offerings at least. Either way it’s a great time to be a gamer
I wish this was plus month
God, I thought it read Playstation Plus and I almost shat my pants. What a legendary month of free games that'd be.
Nioh 2 and Judgement are ps5 or ps4 versions?! It'd be nice to see some quality ps5 games put on there. Now is a good service overall, just a few things they're lacking that could make it more competitive with Gamepass. On paper, its actually a better service! More games, lower price. But the lack of day 1 and revolving titles I think hurts more than helps. One thing I would like to see implemented is some kind of Day 1 Trial feature. The PS5 exclusives are going to sell regardless, so why not put up like a 3 hour trial of all new 1st party games that lets you DL and play the first few hours and carry over your save to the full game? I really want to check out Returnal, but the stuff about the save feature has turned me off and Id rather wait til its $30 or so to check it out. With a trial, If I liked it Id buy it right off. 3 hours is just enough time to hook someone and could result in more sales. Also, some people complain about this on GP, but having title leave the service to make way for new stuff actually helps spur sales. If a title I love is coming off, I get a discount for buying it. Thats a nice little incentive that clearly helps sales as publishers and developers have embraced GP more and more. PS Now is right there, and a couple of little upgrades could easily put the service over the top.
