Whether we like COD or not is one thing but it's a franchise that sells. and someone who may want to buy this COD may end up signing for plus and getting this with the subscription

I like that is included I don't really want to play this entry as it was basically a br game which I'm not into and didn't have a single player campaign but generally cod games at least have a semi enjoyavy short campaign to enjoy

Well, there's at least A Plague Tale for me. I think I have access to about 4 or 5 CoD games due to PS+ but never really played them (played versus with nephews a few times, but not from my PS+ games).

I played Modern Warfare Remastered quite a bit. Would have done the same with MW2 Remaster if it had included multiplayer.

I already own Black Ops 4, and honestly the zombies is some of my favorite in the series. If nothing else, that's a great time, especially playing with friends.

Yeah, but on the bright side, at least you'll have some good stuff to look forward to. Make sure to add it to your library on the web version of the Store so you'll have it to play when you're able to grab a PS5.

I think "A Plague Tale" is in the order of 50GB so I would have to delete some games. Of course I will put it in my library so as not to miss out.

I did play the demo and it appeared to be interesting, however, because I was playing Horizon Zero Dawn with the Frozen Wilds DLC at the time I only played for an hour or so.

As an aside I don't have a PS5 yet (very short supply in Australia) but I do think Sony should allow and make recommendations for the M.2 expansion slot (I have heard July/August). Until the M.2 expansion slot is enabled I will not get a PS5.

Sure stop with the best selling gaming franchise in the history of video games. I don't like COD(I have many just for single player and even than I haven't played that many) but you can't underestimate the value of this franchise

COD launches every year in November so the franchise gets anywhere from 6-8 weeks on the market before the year ends and becomes the best selling game of that year

@Terry_B Although Grand Theft Auto V sales dwarf those of individual COD games. The Call of duty series as a whole has sold 400 million copies, while it has been reported that GTA as a series has sold about 350 million. Staggering numbers for both, certainly.

The zombies in Black Ops 4 was great, and Blackout, while nowadays is probably not the best, was awesome during it's height.

Because i assume everyone moves onto the next Call of Duty multiplayer.

I think it's marketing as well. Just keep getting headlines with Call of Duty + Playstation out there to make it the place to olay COD. Because 30% of Call of Duty sales on PS is alot of money.

I think actually a number of CODs retain an active playerbase even after newer ones come out. I think non-COD people like a lot of us on here are guilty of assuming that the COD-types buy each COD every fall, when in reality for some it's more like one every few years.

That made sense when people had to buy another 60 dollar game...but with Warzone there's no barrier of entry. You don't even need PS+ for Warzone.

Isn't Warzone still just a BR mode though? If so, many people don't like BRs, particularly people used to team-based multiplayer (which is why many people play COD). Why would you switch to a game mode you don't like just because it's free?

Maybe it is shitty for you. Plus, A Plague Tale has been on sale multiple times for under $20 on PS4. I believe I bought it at that price or it might have been $14.99. It was awhile ago. I haven't played it yet but now I have the PS5 version as well when I can get one. Can't wait!!!

Puzzle and stealth gameplay is what I've seen. You have to use environment/lights to get past rats, stealth around humans. Possibly more. I've seen only some as I didn't want to spoil the story before I played it.

Plague tale is a great game and definitely worth your time. I was genuinely shocked how good it is when I played it. It is definitely not a walking simulator and also happens to be a very good looking game.

It's a alright month. Heard noting but positive things about plague tale so I'll be trying that out at some point. Black ops 4 I already own and have not played since the release of cold war. It's a decent game has fun modes like prop Hunt, gun game, sticks and stones. Zombies on black ops is better than zombies on cold war.

As for WWE. Am a wresting fan of 20+ years and use to love the games. Never tried this one but apparently it's terrible.
