Konami quietly launches a PES 2022 demo

From Eurogamer: "Konami has quietly launched a demo for PES 2022.

The brilliantly-named 'New Football Game Online Performance Test' is available to download now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S. You don't need PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold."

Played about 10-15 matches. Responsive enough even with a 1 bar connection. Playing on Ps4. It looks like mobile game on console. The game is mostly to test the online servers though.

That's like judging which turd smells less bad. They are both garbage. There is no serious soccer game worth buying on the market currently. Hopefully this next iteration fixes that.

It is better. The lack of licenses is what bothers me about PES.I do download the mods to get the content but I wish Premier League and UCL were seamlessly integrated into PES.

This demo beta is very very bad... Wow what a mess of a gameplay, unresponsive and looks like a ps3 game. Pes 21 was so much better.. What the heck?

It is a bad demo, but I'm guessing that is why it isn't called a Pes demo. It's to test the online mode, not gameplay. I'm willing to bet this is an older version of the game.

Yea I know it's a Demo beta but this is so horrible that i fear for the final game. Because this demo is far very far from anything pes like. It's a new engine this time and on that note it's not a good sign.

I want to like PES but the control scheme has become SO BAD, especially on defense. Hope they overhaul them back to something resembling intuitive this time out. Not that FIFA isn't an abomination in its own way.

game was great (gameplay wise), the graphics are not inteded to be shown off in at this stage i dont think. it is slow but its slow to match more closely to real life. if you looking for pure suimulation this the closeset experiece i have ever had. animation and collisions have vastley improved.

one of the games i played the connection was poor but it was still good, the lag was handled better the past versions.
still reserving judegemtn on final game as the demos in the past allways tend to show more promise than what we get in the release version.
