No need to spend again to get paid summons and accessories when the title arrives.
Final Fantasy VII Remake update 1.002 introduces the 'Head Start' mode for a powered-up journey and a fast-forward feature for event scenes.
But why? I mean cool and all just seems a bit random. Now if they could set a mode in Rebirth that makes these Brutal challenges easier then I am all for it...
I don't really see the point of speeding up cutscenes. Aren't they there to be enjoyed. And if you don't want to see them again..just skip them
Does it let me skip the forced cutscenes in battle?
like in the final battle where there's a full minute long unskippable cutscene?
will it finally do that, or do we have to wait for a pc release where 1 guys in his bedroom with no funding to fix this
In the wake of industry-wide layoffs, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth director Naoki stresses how how vital it has been to have worked with the same team for the past decade – and how, hopefully, they can bring that expertise to the next project post-Part 3.
probably not well they most likely wont stay a team and work on other projects.
they should definitely work together for other final fantasy games again tho. they are fantastic.
Shame if they move onto non FF projects, I really wanted them to do a FFVIII remake, obviously not as ambitious as the VII ones, just something more in line with the original. Even if it's in two parts with the first game covering Disc 1/2 and the second covering 3/4 with a more expanded Disc 4 after time compression, I'd be happy with that.
Imagine if instead of just doing more remakes (after they finish this trilogy), they became the new main team to work on new FF mainline games? Imagine if FF 17 was made by them? 16 had good reviews at first, but over time a lot of people have been voicing how much it barely has anything to do with feeling like an FF game (other than gimmicks like including crystals and chocobos). Not saying it's a bad game, but maybe stuff like 16 should be a spinoff. We know turn based (or at least hybrid games like the FF 7 remake series) would be popular considering the insane popularity of games like Persona. The FF 7 remake games feel like the perfect balance between old school and action for the new gen.
Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy may be headed to Xbox, though there is currently no active development taking place.
That's like me saying. Well Gears E Day is to playstation. No active development and I don't know if it's for PS5 or 6 or even 7.
Edit: Don't take any notice to what Jez says. He is a known to say BS. He was the one who was adamant that Microsoft are not releasing any Xbox exclusives on playstation and the rumours are all fanboy talk. Then a month later Microsoft announced the 4 games and then 6 months later we now know it's more than just 4 games.
Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core is already available for Xbox Series S|X. An annoucement of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy would be no big surprise.

I'm still waiting for the FFXVI announcement some blowhards were throwing around here....
It will be a long time before it does or if it even appears on an Xbox. No one knows how long Sony has the trilogy locked as an exclusive.
So if you bought the base PS4 version then the PS5 upgrade gives you any extra content. Good news. I’m only upgrading to play the Yuffie DLC but this is nice for those who didn’t buy the deluxe edition.
Cool, I always felt there might be a next-gen port so stayed away from the original, even though its tempting to boot up the PS+ version I have. Once I'm able to get hold of a PS5 this and Returnal will be top of my hit list.
Someone please clarify something for me. I get that all the dlc that was available in the deluxe edition will be free when you upgrade to the ps5 version but the episode with Yufi, will I need to purchase that and where can I make that purchase?
Is it any good? Ive never played
Bought my PS4 FFVII copy for $20, so I'm good.
