There’s enjoyment to be had in Postal Redux, but it’s best enjoyed if you’re able to set your mind and expectations back to 1997.
PP: Video games are the ultimate form of escapism, but in Postal there is something that just feels a little dirty. It further fuels the nonsensical view non-gamers have about violence in video games and how it creates violent perverted monsters. Of course, it doesn’t - but if more games released were like Postal, it would be easy to see where that stereotype comes from.
Here is a look at Postal REDUX on a PS5. Aiming with a controller is a new skill to learn vs playing the game on the PC.
I bought this literally just to support RWS and hopefully get Postal 2 or Postal 4 on PlayStation ❤
I guess Unreal Engine 2 probably isn't super optimized for newer consoles lol but one can dream
oh in Redux? Yeah dude i cant aim at all in it LOL id imagine it would be much better with a mouse. I do have it on PC too but... idk i like playing with a controller. ...guess i could use the steam controller......
Using gyro as a mouse cursor in the console versions would have been a sweet inclusion tbh. Wish more games would utilize gyro as an optional way to aim both in FPS games and in tycoon games, the sims, etc. Its one of the main reasons i love PC and Switch lol
Anyway im just plowing through Postal on Easy to see all the content its whatever lol
I will look into it. Have some things with RWS going on that I cannot talk about yet.
