Crimson Desert isn't an MMORPG, and Black Desert is poised to stick around for the foreseeable future.
IGN : Crimson Desert is a brand new, open-world, action-adventure game from Pearl Abyss. I was lucky enough to go hands on with the game, speak to the developers and get details on the BlackSpace engine that powers it. Just what technology is under the hood? Why it is so impressive, and why this could be one of the biggest games of 2025. All that and much more in our Crimson Desert IGN Performance preview.
This game has GoTY potential. It looks that good. Not only graphics but gameplay looks legit
Thanks to Pearl Abyss, The Outerhaven recently had the opportunity to go hands-on with a demo build of its upcoming MMORPG, Crimson Desert. What did we think of it? It's pretty damned amazing and has a lot of potential, as you're seeing our preview.
It looks like a great single player game. Hopefully when it releases it’s as good as it looks.
TSA play Crimson Desert, the upcoming action adventure from Pearl Abyss, battling four bosses that are full of surprises.
I just need them to add inverted vertical controls. Played the demo at PAX East, the game looks gorgeous, controls is nice, action is top notch, but the bosses felt a little cheesy in terms of hit boxes and invulnerability states galore.
That's great news, I hope it turns out to be a good game, certainly looks the part and co op will be fun if it's the entire campaign.
Glad they changed this to non-MMO.
Looks brilliant too.
The camera shake in the trailer was terrible.
I'm super happy there's no MMO element to this because it looks fantastic.
