The mechanics work and build on each other beautifully and it’s just a joy to play. It’s hard, and at times it can be utterly punishing if a bit of bad luck early on means you can’t complete each mission finale, but I think that’s just part and parcel of playing a rogue-alike. You take the rough with the smooth."
