Hopefully their next project is not another walking simulator.

Ausbo1569d ago

I believe they just hired a combat designer, so there’s some hope there

DJStotty1569d ago

Some people like walking simulators.

It's like saying i hope Treyarch's next game is not another 1st person shooter.

On a personal level, i enjoyed The Medium, as some people enjoyed Death Stranding.

CaptainHenry9161569d ago (Edited 1569d ago )

The difference is Death Stranding had combat and open world. All of Blooper games is walking simulators. They advertise the Medium like it was going to be the next big game when it was just a mediocre simulator at best.

DJStotty1569d ago

The medium is how they advertised it, what was shown in trailers and gameplay before launch, is exactly how the game is. Even if all blooper games are walking simulators, how is that a bad thing? Maybe it is the style of game they prefer to make?

Would you make food you do not like? Or would you keep making things you do like?

If the Medium or walking simulators are not your style of game, then you would not have a need to be here complaining about a developer, making a style of game you have no interest in? Or maybe you are here for reasons simply as hating/trolling on something? I dunno....

CaptainHenry9161569d ago (Edited 1569d ago )

@DJStotty
I never said it was a bad thing. I said I want them to do more than just make walking simulators. Ausbo just said they hired a combat designer. So we shall see what they come up with next.

DJStotty1568d ago (Edited 1568d ago )

@CaptainHenry916

" I said I want them to do more than just make walking simulators."

Why? Just look at other developers for other genre's of games..... it is clear that games like layers of fear/The medium/Blair Witch/Observer are not for your liking, so why waste your time and effort, crossing your fingers and hoping for them to make a different style of game, when they clearly like said style of games?

All i'm saying is, if you do not like a certain developers output of content, simply turn around and look at someone else...

Maybe Bloober games aren't for you?

DJStotty1568d ago

"In your opinion"

Fixed that for ya chief

Aussiesummer1568d ago

Who else's opinion would it be "chief"?

DJStotty1568d ago

You alluded to what you was saying as "fact" when it is actually "opinion".

That is all, nothing more

Truly amazing!

Draws inspiration clearly draws gameplay inspiration from Assassins Creed and action cinematics from Uncharted!

Powered by UE5!

Definitely on my radar!

Lightning778h ago

Looks very good why wasn't this at SGF?

Obscure_Observer6h ago

Probably because this trailer wasn´t ready yet.

I doubt the developers would miss the opportunity to reveal their games to millions of gamers on four major events like Summer Game Fest, Future Games Show, State of Play or Xbox Showcase on purpose.

Napoca861h ago(Edited 1h ago)

This feels like 90% stolen from Uncharted and the guy is also falling or almost falling to often down. Nah this is to much show, something is strange here.

The director of the original Silent Hill: “I look forward to seeing bold interpretations.”

Keiichiro Toyama—the creator and original director of the 1999 Silent Hill—shared his personal thoughts on the recently announced remake by Konami, reflecting on what the project means to him after more than two decades:
“I felt something similar when the game was adapted into a movie. It deeply moved me to see the names of the characters and locations I had created come to life visually, even though I wasn’t directly involved. That wouldn’t have been possible without the continued support of the fans and the dedication of the developers who’ve kept the series alive.
I’m really looking forward to seeing how the remake evolves this time. With the advanced technology we now have, I’m sure I’ll be surprised by how the game is reimagined. Since the original was built for the first PlayStation, there will naturally be challenges—like the camera and controls—but I’m eager to see bold and creative solutions to those elements.”

Haha Not only is bold and creatively not what the industry wants, it’s not what most people want.

They want to get scammed and pay twice for a thing they already own.

Nightcrawler897h ago

Hope they use his vision in the game

Inverno7h ago

Was the SH2 remake even bold? Or was it more or less just a 1 to 1 over the shoulder remake?

Pedrof6h ago

I wouldn't hold my breath on "bold".

I feel a new DMC on the horizon.

thorstein3h ago(Edited 3h ago)

New IP, please. Used to be (in the 80s) if it was a Capcom game, you knew it was good.

jznrpg2h ago

Pragmata is a new IP so there’s that. Another one would be nice though

Babadook71h ago(Edited 1h ago)

Honestly Capcom is still somewhat of a seal of quality for me.

shinXseijuro1h ago

Trust me I’m a Capcom baby. Got fond memories of Megaman and all the good library they had on snes 😂 . I always felt bummed Capcom shunned Megaman tho ever since inafune left the company . Pragmata seems like it’s a new Megaman sort of
