I never got to play Rule of Rose and it was on my wishlist for so many years. I'd definitely take a port now
I own the game on PS2 I love it breathe new life into this franchise it so needs to see the light again
Holy shit, I would definitely get Rule of Rose Remastered if released on current gen consoles or PC. Played it again on ps2 emulator last year and it held up surprisingly well story/atmosphere/soundtrack wise , gameplay was rough but everything else made up for it. It's one of the most depressing and sad horror games out there and very few games like it touch on the mature themes that are in the game. I would even go and call it a masterpiece that would have had a place alongside horror classics like Silent Hill 2 or Fatal frame 2 if the gameplay and pacing was better.
Will this raise or lower the value of my copy of Rule of Rose?
I wonder if a Rule of Rose port would be censored since it was outright banned in the UK.
