Dave writes: "Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of the Forest on Xbox is laid-back and wordy, instead trying to capture the spirit of the original table-top roleplaying game. Some might bemoan the lack of action, but we got lost in it: Heart of the Forest revels in storytelling and character-building, presenting you with choices to make, adding consequences to those choices, and then growing your character based on those consequences. It could have done with a bit more bite and certainly more Garou-bloodletting, but the tale it tells will leave you over the (full) moon."
"Today, Different Tales, Walkabout Games and Funstock are excited to announce that the physical edition of the visual-novel adventure game "Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of the Forest" is OUT NOW on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4" - Today, Different Tales, Walkabout Games and Funstock.
I'll have to see what this is about but good job keeping these physical releases coming.
"Different Tales, Walkabout Games, and Funstock are today very happy and excited to announce that their visual-novel adventure game "Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of the Forest", is coming physically to Playstation and the Nintendo Switch in early 2023 (pre-orders are available right now for both Playstation and the Nintendo Switch!)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
From PSU: "Snappily paced, beautifully written and a visual treat, Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of the Forest does apt justice to its sprawling source material and represents a great place for newcomers to the mythos to get started. Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of the Forest is the best visual novel to come along in a long time."
